Joho Studio is a small design studio set up by Finnish designer Johanna Öst Häggblom in autumn 2008. My studio is situated in Jakobstad / Pietarsaari, a small town on the west coast of Finland.

I have always loved to create and organize things. Growing up in a small village on the west coast of Finland I have learned to appreciate the large fields, the darkness and quietness. There I find my inspiration. A blank paper ready to be filled. My design comes from my heart. I strongly rely on my intuition when I create.

In 2004 I started to study design at Novia University of Applied Sciences in the city of Turku. I graduated in spring 2008 with a Bachelor degree in design. After that I continued study at Aalto University School of Art and Design Helsinki and graduated Masters of Art in 2012.

My work consists of logotypes and visual identities, illustrations, book covers and posters. I also work with pattern-, product-, and concept design.

I am glad that you found your way to my site. I hope you will enjoy your stay.
